We think that Ibogaine treatment cost should be lower. While many Ibogaine treatment centers charge anywhere from $7,000 to $10,000, we find that this cost does not reflect the Ibogaine experience many individuals get. With Ibogaine, you don’t always get what you pay for. Here are some of the “benefits” that other Ibogaine clinics claim to have that may not actual be worth paying for.
Safety and Ibogaine Treatment Centers
Safe Ibogaine treatment is a necessity. However, many of these expensive treatment centers claim to have “safer” or “better” Ibogaine treatments based on things that do not matter. Having nurses and doctors on site for Ibogaine treatment is a must. However, many treatment centers claim to have better doctors or more doctors. You will find that most clinics pretty much provide the same things–doctors, nurses, and a safe medical environment for treatment.
We have found that the costs other clinics charge for their Ibogaine treatment programs does not provide the individual with any added safety measures. You may pay more money, but, unless you see a higher cost as a benefit, the price isn’t justified.
On the other hand, there are also Ibogaine treatment centers that charge a lower amount but have cut their medical staff. What’s worse is the claim to have a medical staff present. It isn’t until you show up to the clinic that you realize you have been duped. Be aware that if the price seems too low, that is a huge red flag (usually treatment 3,000 dollars or lower). From a medical perspective this is dangerous. At Experience Ibogaine we have a nurse on staff 24/7 and multiple doctors and nurses on staff to supervise every Ibogaine treatment administered.
Ibogaine Clinics and Resort Treatments
Many Ibogaine clinics claim to have luxury resort locations. However, they do not show you photos, or worse they show you fake photos, of their actual treatment center.
Last year, when Ibogaine was legal in Costa Rica, there may have been many more resort style Ibogaine treatment centers around. However, now that most clinics are in Mexico, you may pay a resort style price, but the secluded resort lifestyle you thought you were getting turns out to be false.
Our clinic, at Experience Ibogaine, like all the other treatment centers in Mexico, is close to the beach. We offer you a full medical facility with full course meals, entertainment, access to the beach, movies, shopping, restaurants, and anything else you could possibly want. However, you will be spending the majority of the time under the influence of Ibogaine. Why would you want to pay for a resort experience when you are going to be sitting in bed for most of the time going through Ibogaine treatment? It just doesn’t make sense.
We offer all the same amenities, if not more, and all the same activities and experiences that other clinics offer, but we do it for a lot less. We aren’t trying to be a luxury resort. We want you to feel comfortable and relaxed while you are here. But, ultimately, our goal is to provide a successful Ibogaine experience with a focus on medical safety.
On the other hand, you do not want to be crammed into a small, dirty living space with multiple individuals. Having your own personal space for reflection is very important. This is why we offer private rooms that are cleaned, by our maid staff, daily.
The Free Airfare Trap
Many clinics offer free airfare for patients. This sounds great, right?
This is a marketing tool that clinics use to try to hook you. What they actually offer you is free one way airfare and they charge you from $2,000 to $5,000 dollars more than we do.
The cost of that one way plane ticket amounts to $200 to $500–hardly worth the cost.
Safe. Comfortable. Effective. 1-800-644-8482
When it comes down to getting the best price for your Ibogaine treatment, factor in the actual costs of what you are getting. If you want a VIP experience, and you are willing to pay for it, most clinics, included us, offer those options.
But make sure you are getting what you pay for. If you are looking for a standard, effective Ibogaine treatment program that offers you a safe, medically supervised treatment, then don’t pay more money for reasons that don’t matter to you–or worse, for no reason at all.
Iboga Wilderness Retreats vs. Pure Ibogaine Hydrochloride?
Lastly, some Ibogaine treatment costs come from what are called Iboga, or Shamanistic, treatments. But is this a benefit?
Iboga is different from Ibogaine. Iboga is the raw plant, and it contains many other compounds. One of those compounds is Ibogaine.
By limiting your treatment to Ibogaine clinics only (and at Experience we use only pure Ibogaine hydrochloride for all treatments) you eliminate the risks associated with all of the other compounds that are found in the raw Iboga plant.
On top of this, it’s no secret that Iboga and Ibogaine can have some dangerous side effects. This is why medical supervision is important. Many of these Shamanistic rituals are done during wilderness retreats with little to no medical attention. Why would someone want to take Ibogaine in a non-medical setting? This is not a benefit.
The real benefit comes from taking Ibogaine in a clinic with a medical doctor, nurses, and medical equipment readily available. Although prescreening does in fact help keep the number of negative reactions to Ibogaine down, it is not a 100% guarantee. Having a medical doctor on hand saves lives, and you shouldn’t have to pay more for an unsafe environment.
We Want to Lower Ibogaine Treatment Cost
The bottom line is that we want to help. Some Ibogaine clinics offer you free airfare. Some offer you a resort experience. And there are many other packages that Ibogaine centers call benefits. However, the question is, are these really benefits? For instance, charging you thousands of dollars more and then offering you free airfare doesn’t seem like an even trade.
We want to be upfront about our costs with you. We want to make Ibogaine treatment more affordable for everyone. Everyone deserves a second chance get the help they need. Ibogaine works.
